Damson Frog
FOR SALE: One hand-made knitted frog (Dot Pebbles pattern) beautiful purple mix colour frog, with darker purple main and pale lavender underbody, and soft wire armature in the limbs so it can be posed.
If you want to attach the frog to your handbag or rucksack – please let me know and I can add a small attachment loop on the back.
This cute handmade Woolly Well Wisher is made for you to share your thoughts with, they’ll travel with you or be by your side and listen to you, and hope that sharing helps you work things out or make that plan and move forward. This frog has a small attachment loop on the back (white loop), you can attach a ribbon (pink ribbon) to fix to your handbag or rucksack if desired. I can remove this if you don’t want it, or I can supply a little extra ribbon for attachment.

Handmade in the beautiful city of Chester. Created in a fragrance free and pet free home. These Well Wishers are not meant to be toys, and are not suitable for children under 10 years of age. If you are intending for this to be for a child, please contact me to discuss – I can avoid using anything other than yarn to make the Well Wisher if needed (but it might not have the same pose-ability).
Damson Frog has strengthening/posing wires for limbs (thin wires in their arms and legs), so that some posing is possible. Damspn Frog can’t stand up by themselves (unless there’s something to lean against), but can sit (especially over the edge of something). Over repeated bending, the wires can break.
Creation date: 7 April 2026. Damson Frog is an enthusiastic planner, but needs help to carry them out! This frog loves social life.
Sizes: top of nose to tip of middle toe: 114mm; “arm stretch” 137mm; front to back 29mm; size of foot 28mm width; 12mm toy safety eyes – blue with a black centre (toy safety eyes can scratch and wear over time, and could pull out through the stitches).
Yarn details: 100% British wool yarn by baa ram ewe PIP Colourwork in colour ‘Bishopthorpe’ for upper and limbs and colour ‘Bluebell’ for the underside. Stuffing: 100% hi-loft polyester soft toy filling.
Care instructions: I don’t recommend a full submergence wash of the Well Wisher or washing machine cycle either, spot clean with a damp cloth. Care instructions from yarn band: Do not tumble dry. Hand wash only. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Dry flat, reshape while damp.
COST: £75 plus postage. I only accept payment via Paypal, you’ll need to email me (woollywellwishers@gmail.com) to give your address details, and I need to send you the Paypal account details and how much postage will be. When I get confirmation of the payment, I’ll get the Woolly Well Wisher packed up to send to you. I’ll keep you in the loop on timings, and when I get to the post office etc.
